Mrs. Thomas had grown weary of calling the police, and Aunty Rebecca had become tired of walking to their compound to ensure her well-being.

Mr. Greg, who resided across the street, eagerly awaited his chance at love with the stunning woman. He could not comprehend why she remained stuck with her bullying husband.

Meanwhile, Sylvia, the blogger, opened her window to see if she could capture a compelling video or audio for her blog audience. Although she relished their drama, she never offered to provide any assistance. She didn’t like Ama, the wife. She was envious of her because she had a big boutique on Gregory Road. A few times she ran into Ama’s husband and made passes at him. Richard was not interested. He was only interested in the woman he made love to during the day and turned into a punching bag at night.

The neighbors were tired.

It had become a familiar routine: they would argue and then reconcile a few hours later. Soon after, the wife would be spotted driving her husband’s G wagon, with the earlier screaming and fighting seemingly forgotten. Despite this cyclical pattern, they wondered why Ama chose to stay.
