It is like an orgasm, you want to keep getting more and more of it. It is likened to the initial stages of falling in love, everything about the person is so perfect. The sex is good, the text messages are endless and romantic, or fun to keep having one conversation with the same person. Sometimes these things are a reflection of how they make us feel, not who they are.
It is hard to take off the rose colored glasses or smell the coffee, because we are living in the moment and not paying attention to blind spots. It makes it hard for us to see reality as it should be. Some dangers of the people we perceive to be good for us are hidden in plain sight. Poor judgment and lack of judgment thereof would make us have a false sense of security with a person who is not good for us. It is like being high on weed, and you miss the signals.
