She brushed her teeth and combed her hair. A few minutes later, she was dressed in pink tights and a big shirt. She needed to go running or something. She could not possibly go to the gym looking like a raccoon with swollen eyes and dark circles.
She went to the kitchen and made herself a cup of coffee. She scrolled through her phone to see if she would get a missed call or a text message. There was nothing. Her mind wandered back to the events of the previous night. The thought of a fight before a wedding was not a good sign. Without a doubt, she knew she loved Damina and they were meant to get married and start a family, but then she remembered the conversation she had with her friend at the restaurant as she sipped her coffee. She had to speak with Damina, the suspense was driving her crazy. She called his phone, it was switched off, the call went straight to voicemail. Doubts were beginning to creep into her mind.
