CONFESSIONS OF A CHEATING WIFE (24)

The phone rang a few times on the other end and went to voicemail.

“Hello, this is Yemi…”

I clicked on the ‘End” button. I was tired of being on the other end of unanswered and unreturned calls. If he wanted to move on, I wanted him to make his intentions known by serving me divorce papers. I didn't want divorce. I just didn't want to stay shackled in a loveless marriage. How did we get here?

If it was true that Yemi went to the Warriors Game with Rita, did it mean they were dating? Or was it just being each other’s company, which in my opinion equates to the same thing? I had done enough damage to this marriage to warrant his physical and emotional unavailability, but now I was on the receiving end of the pain. It hurt.

I started damaging Yemi long before we got married. It's just in my case, karma was not instant.

When I first met Yemi, he was in charge of the finances in our relationship. He took care of my pocket money by making me an authorized user on some of his cards.
