CONFESSIONS OF A CHEATING WIFE (34)
Osas sat there watching me. It had been so long sine I came to his apartment. Nothing much had changed since the last time I came here.
“What’s up with you?” he asked.
Tears began to run down my cheeks. One thing about me, I hated being vulnerable. Osas was the only person I was vulnerable with apart from my husband.
“He is having a baby,” I replied.
“Who?” he asked.
“My husband,” I replied.
“Oh, no, that’s not good,” he said and sat beside me. I began to sob into his arms. He rubbed my back gently.
“I didn’t know he was seeing someone else,” I said as I sobbed in his arms. “He got her pregnant.”
Osas said nothing. He was the type who processed new information differently. He was a great listener and only spoke when necessary. He only spoke when whatever he had to say was either going to give value to the situation or change it.
