I sat across the table from Osas a few hours later at our favorite spot.
When we were dating, we came here every weekend. Ace & Spades was a nice restaurant and lounge. It was located in the downtown area of the city. It was a four-star restaurant that served delicious food and was known for its excellent cocktail. We enjoyed Hip Hop Thursday, R & B Friday, and Saturday Dancehall. The city shut Ace & Spades down about two years ago after a deadly shooting outside the restaurant. It killed a woman who was celebrating her bridal shower. It took a while for the business to recover from the scandal. When it reopened, the crowd changed and leaned towards college kids. The grown and sexy had taken their business to a different spot called The Underground.
