As Tola left the office, Ola leaned back in her chair and took a deep breath. She knew there was something about Ike that she had not put a finger too.
Usually the enemies of a man are always within.
She had to be careful with Ike. She also had to handle him with wisdom. One enough to keep him as a staff, because she needed his experience, all this was new to her, and also not have him know about certain things until they were implemented.
Ginika was another person she had to look out for. She was a member of the Board and had a lot of power. She could sway the board members in her favor because of experience. Ola wished she knew someone who could help her take over the company, someone from a team she was building fresh.
Ola’s phone buzzed.
She looked at the phone screen, the caller ID displaying “Mom.”
She needed her mom this minute.
“Hello, Mom.”
“Ola, dear, how are you?” her mother asked.
