Akin did not want to talk about his past. I told him that to move forward, we needed to go back a bit. We needed to look at the problems from the past and correct the mistakes. Akin’s father, Tade had created problems for his children by his thoughtless actions. His children were going to suffer for the sins of their father for the rest of their lives.
Tade, his father, had gotten into politics in his mid thirties. He became wealthy under forty. One would think he had great mentors and put in great work into building his empire. It was partly true. The wealth was from his vast business empire, he had toiled hard to build. The empire was sponsored by altars. It enabled him to be successful. The altars always wanted one thing for another. It wanted blood. Tade was a member of a coven, and the more he sacrificed. The wealthier and more influential he became.
Things were going well until one of the meetings he attended required him to renew the sacrifice to get government approval to build a brand new thirty two acre project he had been working on. He was asked to bring a new sacrifice. It had to be costly. The costly sacrifices were human and mostly were close relations or friends. Tade never wanted to touch his close relations.
