If it doesn’t serve you well, don’t bother with it.

One thing I have realized about time is that it is priceless. You can never get it back. When you waste your time, be it a second, minute, hour , day, month or year, you can never get it back.

A lot of people work dead end jobs. It is the rat race that America wakes up everyday to run. After the age of sixty five, some people realize that they have never truly lived. They missed the little milestones in their children’s lives while pulling a hustle. These are necessary means to use time, but no matter how much you get paid at any job, you can never get your time back.

The waste of time is one we have to take by the horns and deal with. Some say twenty four hours a day is not enough, but Beyonce has the same twenty four hours in a day. How do we spend out time? This generation is glued to the screen of a phone or computer and tends to engage in mindless scrolling. Our lives depend on our cell phones. The alarm clock on our phones, Bible apps, news, trackers, Instagram, Twitter, Clubhouse, Facebook, and so many other apps. that make us dependent on our phones.

Mindless scrolling on social media can start for as little as five minutes. And then we end up spending four hours on social media commenting, arguing with trolls, viewing the photos of…
