Candice went home after buying a few things from the market. She could not wait to try the recipe. She stared at the substance in the small jar Mama Tee had given her.
She wanted to tell her friend Vickie about it, but she decided against it. It was going to be difficult to use the recipe with Tobi because he had moved out.
She had a better idea. She was going to use it to get customers. It was meant to draw people to her, right? All she needed to do was make delicious pepper soup, and customers would hound her to patronize her.
She posted on Facebook and Instagram telling potential clients that she would be making small bowls of soup for pick up for $20 and small foil pans for $50 on Friday.
“Friday Special for the weekend! Delicious Pepper soup with a side of yam, $20 for a bowl and $50 for a small foil pan. Don’t miss out on this deal.”
Within the hour, she began to get likes and comments on the post. Her DM’s began to buzz with inquiries.
