No paper trail

She didn’t see me.
I stared at her hot, long beautiful legs.
They looked well tanned.
Her luscious long hair fell onto her shoulders. She had an amazing figure. She hadn’t changed much, but she had grown to be more beautiful, more feminine. I stared at her lips, luscious, kissable.
A man came out of the driver's side of the car.
Who was he?

Her husband?

Her friend?

Her driver?

She came from a wealthy family. Having a man at her disposal was not a problem?
How come she resurfaced suddenly? I hadn’t seen her in eight years. The most painful eight years.

I waited for her to come back. I cut off a lot of relationships because of her. So many women flung themselves at me, and I rejected them because I wanted just her. I wanted to see her, touch her, smell her, but she never came back. All sorts of thoughts crossed my mind as I longed for her.
Was she dead?
Was she kidnapped?
Did she elope?
There were no answers.
She vanished like she never existed. No social media. No telephone number, no address. Nothing.
She didn’t even come up as an existing human being. Every paper trail of her was gone…
