Bank credit alerts with Judas Iscariot vibes

Sheila wiped the tears off her face, unsure of how she was able to cry. She hoped that her tears would convince everyone at school of the professor’s guilt, as she claimed. Looking at the number of viewers, eight thousand, she watched her blog numbers go up. The surge was thrilling to her, as this news story could bring open doors for advertisements, and companies paid well to get their products in front of her followers. She never expected her blog to change her life when she first started, but it did. She went from being broke and collecting paltry sums of money from her mom for upkeep, to renting a penthouse apartment off campus. Every day, eight thousand or more people read her blog and commented. Some comments were pleasant, others were vile, and some readers were unbothered. Her aim was to make everyone believe the female, not the man.

As she stood up from her chair and turned off the ring light, she received a bank credit alert for the agreed sum of twenty thousand.

She smiled, scrolled through her text messages, and found the sender’s name. She typed…
