How dare she ask the guests to pay for the wedding?

Bola was the client you didn’t want to have. She was a CPA with a great salary, but when it came to planning the wedding, she was frugal.
Frugal is a great word to use.
She sat in front of me at the coffee shop, where I scheduled the consultation, sipping her latte.
“I am on a tight budget, so what can you do for me?” she asked.
“What is your budget?” I asked.
If she was on a tight budget, the courthouse was her best bet, and she would be done and over with.
“Fifteen thousand,” she replied, looking hopefully at me.
She was out of her mind, she was looking at a hall to hold fifteen guests, and a laundry list of wants that didn’t match the budget.
“ That’s not possible,” I responded firmly.
“How so?” She asked with a surprised look on her face.
I don’t know if she was feigning shock, or maybe no one had ever said no to her before. Either way, I didn’t care.
“The budget does not match the number of guests, the hall costs at least eighty percent of fifteen thousand dollars,” I replied.
She laughed.
I stared at her in surprise, not expecting that response.
“What’s funny?” I asked.
“Do you think the total cost for the wedding would be out of pocket? Oh no sweetie, my parents and his parents have written checks for seven thousand dollars each. My fiance and I are putting in one thousand, the funds from the wedding will…
